About D10

D10 denotes a hole tolerance zone with running clearance deviation in the ISO 286 system. It is used in D10/h9 (Generous clearance on a plain shaft for loose pulleys and idlers.).

At Ø25 mm D10 is +0.149 / +0.065 mm, i.e. 25.065 to 25.149 mm.

How the limits are calculated

D10 uses grade IT10 (a standard tolerance of 84 µm at 18–30 mm). Fundamental deviation: EI = −es of the same shaft letter; IT10 sets the width above EI. See the fundamental deviation table for every letter. Values per ISO 286-1:2010.
